3/16" MEDIUM HEAD TRI-FOLD RIVET Perfect for inconsistent grip ranges or oversize out-of-round holes that are typical in plastics. Edge Performance Tri-fold rivet is designed to work like a moly-bolt in that it splits out into three legs at the backside. Its extended bearing surface spreads the load over a wider area to prevent pullout in plastics or other similar soft or thin sheet materials. This Tri-fold Rivet is a real time saver for many repair jobs and only requires one person. Unlike standard pop rivets, these 'blind' rivets do not require a backup washer.
- Works in over-sized, oblong and worn out holes up to 1/4″
- Tight clamp-up and holding power, from .040″ to .354″ with stronger clamping power.
- NO back-up washer needed. The Tri-fold action will clamp without needing a back up washer.
- These rivets will work with any functioning blind rivet setting tool.
